Welcome to GCC Tourism, your trusted partner for unforgettable travel experiences. We understand that travel plans can sometimes change, and we value your time and investment. Our Refund Policy is designed to be as transparent, fair, and straightforward as possible. This document outlines the various scenarios under which you may be eligible for a refund, the process to claim it, and your legal rights and responsibilities. By booking any of our services, you agree to abide by the terms laid out in this policy. 

Legal Compliance

In compliance with the laws and regulations governing tourism in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, GCC Tourism is obligated to refund all payments, including the initial deposit, if we fail to fulfill the terms of our tourism agreement. If you find yourself in a situation where you require professional legal or financial advice, it is your responsibility to seek such services independently. Please note that GCC Tourism does not offer legal or financial consultation. 

Cancellation by Customer

We understand that life is unpredictable and plans can change. If you find yourself needing to cancel your booking, the following conditions will apply: 

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled travel date will receive a full refund minus a nominal administrative fee. 
  • Cancellations made between 15 to 30 days before the travel date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. 
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the travel date are non-refundable. 

Please note that some services may have their own specific cancellation policies, which will be clearly stated at the time of booking. 

Cancellation by Company

GCC Tourism holds the discretion to cancel any trip due to unforeseen circumstances, such as insufficient bookings or natural disasters, that render the journey non-viable. In these instances, we provide two options: either a full refund of all payments made or an alternative tour with an equivalent or closely similar itinerary. It’s important to note that GCC Tourism will not be liable for any incidental costs incurred in preparation for the canceled trip, including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, and non-refundable flights.

Force Majeure Events

In the event of ‘Force Majeure’—unforeseeable circumstances like natural disasters, political instability, or other events beyond our control—GCC Tourism will not be able to offer refunds. However, we will make every effort to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule the trip. If that is not possible, we will issue a credit voucher for the full amount, valid for two years, which can be used for any of our services. 

Medical Emergencies

We understand that medical emergencies can occur unexpectedly and can be a stressful experience, especially when you’re away from home. If you or any member of your travel party experiences a medical emergency that prevents you from utilizing our services: 

  • A doctor’s note or medical certificate will be required for verification. 
  • You will be eligible for a 75% refund if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service. 

In cases where the medical emergency occurs within 48 hours of the service, we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and strive to offer the most reasonable solution, which may include partial refunds or credit towards future bookings. 

Changes to Itinerary

At GCC Travel and Tourism, our goal is to deliver the itinerary as outlined in our marketing materials. Nevertheless, there are instances where modifications may be unavoidable due to factors such as operational requirements, safety considerations, or unexpected events. In the event of minor changes, we will inform you ahead of time, although these will not qualify for a refund. On the other hand, should there be major changes that substantially impact the essence of the tour, you will have the choice to either proceed with the updated itinerary or opt for a full refund.

Non-arrival/No-show

Failing to arrive at the designated meeting point or service location without giving prior notice is categorized as a ‘No-show.’ Under these circumstances, no refunds will be provided. Additionally, if you desire to reschedule, a rescheduling fee may be applicable, and this is contingent upon availability.

Service Quality Issues

Your satisfaction is our top priority when you choose to travel with GCC Travel and Tourism. Should you encounter any service quality issues during your trip, we urge you to report the matter immediately to our dedicated customer service team. We commit to investigating the issue promptly and, depending on the circumstances, may offer compensation. This could take the form of partial refunds, discounts on future bookings, or other remedies that we deem appropriate.

Package Deals

For those who opt for our package deals encompassing multiple services, it’s important to note that the cancellation and refund policies for individual services within the package will be applicable. If any service within your package is canceled by our company, you will either be refunded proportionally for that specific service or offered an alternative solution.

Payment Errors

If you experience payment errors like double-charging or unauthorized transactions, please bring this to our attention within 30 days of the transaction date. After verifying the issue, we will promptly refund the erroneous amount in full to your original payment method.

Gift Certificates and Vouchers

Our gift certificates and vouchers, referred to as “Gift Credits,” come with specific terms. While these Gift Credits are non-refundable, they are transferable. The expiration date will be clearly indicated, and it falls upon the holder to utilize the Gift Credit before this date. Should a service booked using a Gift Credit be canceled, the value will revert to the Gift Credit balance, in accordance with our standard cancellation policies.

Seasonal/High-Demand Periods

During peak seasons or high-demand periods, please be aware that special refund conditions may apply. Specifically, cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled service may not qualify for a refund. We strongly recommend booking well in advance and solidifying your plans, as changes may be subject to restrictions or additional fees.

Third-Party Bookings

If you’ve booked our services through a third-party platform or travel agency, all refund requests must be directed to that third-party. Please note that our standard refund policy may not apply in these cases, and you’ll be governed by the terms and conditions of the third-party provider.

Amendments to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or amend our Refund Policy at any given time. Any such changes will be made public on this page, and where appropriate, you will be notified via email. It is your responsibility to regularly review this policy to stay updated on any changes.
